YouTube - Days of the Week (clap clap!) [to the tune of the Addams Family]
Hi boys and girls!
The weekend is here but this naughty Typhoon might keep us indoors tomorrow! So here is a chance to get our hands a little dirty and make something very delicious! MUFFINS!
Have you ever baked muffins before?? They are not very difficult to make, but you must ask somebody to help you because we need to cook them in the oven.
This is what you will need:
INGREDIENTS
250 grams self-raising flour
25 grams cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
175 grams caster sugar
175 ml milk
2 large eggs
100 ml sunflower oil
1-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
You will also need these kitchen utensils:
A mixing bowl
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Switch on the oven to 170 degrees C.
2. Put the paper muffin cases into the muffin tray. You will need about 12 paper cases. (If you use small ones you will need more, maybe 25!)
3. Sift the flour, cocoa and baking powder into a large bowl.
4. Add the sugar.
5. Add all the other ingredients and mix together.
6. Use a spoon to put the mixture into the paper cups. DO NOT fill the paper cups too much because the muffins will grow in the oven.
7. Put them in the oven and cook for about 20minutes.
