A story can be fun and excited, but many times stories teach us a lesson! These kinds of stories have a moral. The Boy who cried "WOLF" is a famous story with a moral. Can you guess what it is??

Everyday the shepherd boy took his flock of sheep up the mountain.
One day he was bored so he decided to play a joke on the village people.
He started to yell "HELP!! WOLF! WOLF!"

The people in the village heard his yells and they rushed up the mountain to help him.

"Where is the wolf?" they asked. The boy started to laugh "Hahaha! I tricked you!"
The village people were not happy about the boy's behaviour.

A few days later the shepherd boy decided to play a joke on the village people again.
He started to yell "HELP!! WOLF! WOLF!!"

Once again the village people ran up the mountain to help him but when they arrived they noticed that he had tricked them again.
This time they were really angry!

A few days later the shepherd boy was up in the mountain again.
A hungry wolf jumped out from the bushes!! "HELP! HELP!!" he cried.

The people in the village heard his cries but they thought he was playing another trick on them! Nobody went to help him this time.
The wolf was lucky to have a tasty dinner that day...!
